It is so easy during the Christmas season to get caught up in the frenzied pace of buying/making gifts and lose sight of the real reason we have Christmas.  Just stop. Pause.  Dwell on the fact that the Son of God left heaven to be born as a baby in a world marred by sin, suffering and selfishness.  His life and death has brought us a chance to become children of a holy God.  I love the Charlie Brown Christmas movie's explanation.  Scripture says it all...

I love fall.  I love the cooler temperatures, leaves changing color, pumpkins, baking bread, rain.

It is a great book.  This book has caused me to look for the gifts that God gives me all throughout my day.  If you want to be challenged to have a attitude of gratitude read this book.  It has really made an impact on my perspective.  Notice the little things that God gives you all day long that whisper or shout His love for each one of us...
